Sub-checks
A subject fails if any evaluated sub-check fails, and passes only when every applicable sub-check ran and passed. url sub-checks need a URL; both can also run from source.
| Sub-check | Scope | Checks that |
|---|---|---|
server_link | url | at least one other crawled page links to the route in its raw server HTML |
Preconditions
- Evaluated from raw HTML: without a renderer, raw HTML is the server HTML. The entry route is not applicable.
Remediation
Link the route from server-rendered navigation or content with a plain <a href>.
Fix class: contextual
Known false positives
- Routes linked only from pages outside the crawl budget; raise --max-pages.
Evidence
Platform policies and standards are cited as such; anything else is labelled guidance. These links were carried forward from the specification and should be rechecked before quoting them as current policy.
